Q. What’s the difference between Informate and iDMS?
A. Informate is hydratight’s calculation engine, this provides bolt loads, torques figures and tool pressures. iDMS is hydratight’s data management software, designed to capture all the lifecycle data relating to every critical joint on any installation. iDMS links seamlessly to informate providing traceable, controlled joint tightening data.

Q. What are the recommended hardware requirements for a PC to run Informate?
A. The recommended hardware requirements are:

• Windows 7 or Higher
• 2.5GHz Processor
• 4 GB RAM
• 200 MB free hard disk space

Q. How is iDMS deployed and accessed?
A. iDMS is primarily deployed as a Web hosted service (SAAS) and the system is accessed through a secure internet interface.

Q. Is the software available in other languages?
A. Not at present, both Informate and iDMS are currently launched in English. Other language packs are presently being developed.
